Manila, Philippines—Kata, a Hong Kong and Philippine-based mobile technology brand, released its successor to Venus S smartphone, the Kata Venus 3 at Kata Store in Starmall Edsa last December 8, 2013.
Shoppers, gadget enthusiasts and tech bloggers attended the said event and just like the launching of Venus 3 at Robinsons Forum, there were readily accessible Venus 3 units in the demo tables that were tested by some people wanting to experience the newest smartphone.
The said launching event was an acceleration of the company’s normal release cycle, as it recently launched its Kata i2 just last November 16, 2013. According to Christoper Dy, Kata Specialist/Wiz and host of the launching event, “We’ll be ending this year with a more budget friendly smartphone that has the capability to perform like the premium devices we’ve released in the past months.”
After the brief introduction, Mrs. Christine Bernardo, Sales and Marketing Manager of Kata Philippines, presented the functionality, design and unique features of Venus 3 and emphasized the 3 remarkable qualities of the said new smartphone contender which includes being versatile, viable and a worth it value for money.
The latest Android platform has an improved design and interface that boasts a solid yet portable size. It has also a 4-inch LCD display capacitive touch screen and a dual core 1.2 GHz processor that will definitely make multi-tasking a breeze. Furthermore, it is packed with a 5.0 MP rear and a 1.2 MP front-facing camera with special features that include panorama, HDR and smile shot. It is also pre-installed with Kata’s exclusive applications such as FishTune and Fish Market.
On the said event, a promotional video was also shown to the public, boasting the main aspects of the new budget-friendly smartphone. A mini game was also held and participants won freebies such as mobile cleaner and a Kata Bear.
Moreover, Kata also proclaimed Earl Jay Herodiaz as the winner from their recently concluded “Like to Win i2” promo and handed him over his Kata i2 prize awarded by Mr. Manuel Delos Santos, Country Manager, Saichi Montoya, Online Marketing Officer of Kata PH.
